Free “SOFTBANK Wi-Fi Spot” to Support Tohoku
Pacific Earthquake

SOFTBANK MOBILE Corp. announces it is making “SOFTBANK Wi-Fi Spot”, a public wireless LAN service free of charge to support the Tohoku Pacific Earthquake. Anyone who uses wireless LAN capable handsets can use high speed communication at “SOFTBANK Wi-Fi Spot” service area regardless of the mobile phone operators customers use.

This service is available by entering or choosing “FON” network with wireless LAN capable handsets. Please refer to the web site* below for the service area.

We wish to extend our heartfelt condolences to all those affected by the Tohoku Pacific Earthquake and our thoughts go out to those suffering in its aftermath.
