For wearable devices, the band included at purchase must also be returned and assessed. If the device does not fulfill the assessment conditions, payment of up to 22,000 yen (untaxed) is required, in addition to returning the device.
The payment amount waived varies according to when you use the offer.

From the 13th month,*3 you can bring forward your return of the old model. You will continue to pay for the old model up to the 24th instalment, and the 25th and further instalments are waived.

・The instalment or hire-purchase payments for the old model (not including the deposit) are waived from the next billing month to start after the assessment of the old model is completed (up to 24 payments).
【Special offer conditions of use】
You must meet the following conditions in the 25th month or later:
(1) You notify SoftBank of the phone number of the old model (if you are a SoftBank user) or its model contract number (if you are not a SoftBank user) and apply to SoftBank to use the special offer.
(2) SoftBank receives the old model and completes the assessment by the end of the next month starting after you apply to use the special offer.
(3) The returned old model fulfills our assessment criteria and we can confirm its IMEI (for Apple Watches, the IMEI or serial number.
(4) This program has not been terminated or canceled and has not ended when you apply to use the special offer.
(5) You have not neglected to pay any obligations you bear in favor of SoftBank.
【 Assessment criteria】
・We will use the determination criteria for our Trade-in Program that are current as at the time of assessment.
【Termination conditions】
This program will cease applying if:
(1) you have repaid all instalments for the old model or applied to make a one-off payment to repay the balance.

【 Additional notes for New Top-value Support and One Year Ahead Option】
You cannot use the One Year Ahead Option if the old model does not fulll the assessment criteria or the remaining instalment obligation for the 25th to the 48th instalments is less than 22,000 yen (2,000 yen if only the band of the wearable device does not fulll the assessment criteria; for Backup Service Package subscribers, the amount dened on the SoftBank website).
